“My goal of coaching was to help clarify my thoughts such that I would know what I wanted to do with my life. And I got so much more than this. At the start of our time, I was stuck in a job that under valued me and made me feel small and incompetent. I could not live my full potential, and was being micromanaged every second and that was making me angry, frustrated and very inwardly critical. I had tried to find a new job but I had no success and I also had no clue what I even wanted to do. Ash helped me to break through my insecurities, she showed me a mirror of what it would look like if I held onto the negativity I spoke over myself and it scared the shit out of me. She helped me build myself up and realise that I can live without insecurities. She helped me find joy in a place that was giving me so much anger, hurt, disappointment and frustration. And even though I was still in the same crapy job, I became a much happier person. And being happier in a job I didn't love gave me so much more energy to do the work I needed to do to get a new job. She helped build up my confidence such that when I finally did get some interviews I crushed them and walked away feeling proud of my efforts. After finishing coaching with Ash I got rejected from 2 jobs I really thought I wanted and their feedback was, I was too ambitious for the role. Seriously!! I really struggled with this but without Ash’s coaching (and amazing support even though our coaching sessions were over) I might have given up and gone home, I really actually wanted to. But I persevered, and continued to pray (manifest) for the right door to be opened. And finally, I got offered an exciting PhD position. I would not have said yes to this position before seeing Ash. There was so much holding me back. But I feel so much peace and excitement over doing my PhD now.
